War Office tender: As we are well in with this Department, we have been asked to tender for the supply of Oil, both Burning and Fuel, for various District-Commands of the British Army for delivery over 12 months from 1st April next. To our regret, we sere informed by your London Office that, although the aggregate quantity would be of interest, delivery to twenty different districts in comparatively small amounts at a time did not offer sufficient inducement for tendering.
